OVER HERE, DOWN THERE  that's where it was coming from

  We were totally unaware of what was happening until both of us thought we could smell damp and when it rained heavily the floor got quite wet.  We looked at the outside wall and couldn't see anything wrong until we pulled the water butt forward.  The mortar between the bricks was disappearing, we found it hard to believe.  We called a builder and he came and had a look and told us straight away that it was bees.  He told us we could have a serious problem if we didn't get specialist advice.  We've been worried I can tell you. Anyway, I'm just hoping it's all been dealt with now, we've been all upside down for three weeks and it's cost us an arm and a leg.  Now we're waiting to see what the insurance people say...but, I mean, you don't want bees in your living room, do you...?
