That tiny white dot in the top left corner of the middle ground animates the entire painting, takes it to a new level altogether...without it the image would be lifeless.  It's a question of knowing where the light is coming from and the way it catches a surface for a split second and is then gone.  This painting captures that moment and it succeeds because of it.  Do you agree?  You do agree don't you?
