DADDIO  I know everybody and everybody knows me

I've been talking to an artist pal of mine, a longstanding artist pal.  He tells me that he's a portrait painter (I already knew this) and all the portraits he's painted are self-portraits no matter who the subject is.  I can't see it myself...I've seen some of his portraits and none that I've seen look like him.  He did a portrait of his father and there is a family resemblance, that's true, but it's not a self-portrait it's a portrait of his father and very good it is too...
